EFFIE MANTOZAURANIS
Effie is a holistic dancer, somatic coach, and trauma-informed facilitator that guides femme of center folks into a homecoming with the healing wisdom of the living body. Effie does this by leading individual and group experiences that affirm folks stepping into the ownership of their sexual expression. Effies primary offerings come through her teaching of sensually inspired feminine movement to help folks learn to share their erotic nature through dance. With the creation of safe spaces that allow for authenticity and vulnerability, there is a healing that unfolds when we are witnessed and acknowledged as sexually alive beings. Effie's work is dedicated to empowering femme bodies to take confident leadership over how they express their sexuality through dance; as a somatic, embodied act of reclaiming what may have once been objectified, coerced, or taken.
Effie centers support for the sexually abused and the underrepresented who desire to dismantle limiting beliefs they carry about their bodies, sexuality and pleasure so that each person may redefine safety on their own terms; and move towards self acceptance, intimacy, and radical sexual sovereignty.
