When we occupy and express ourselves through dance and move in erotic ways that display our sexual aliveness, it is for the sake of exploring our own capacity for pleasure, self love, and embodied sovereignty. When we share from this place we are saying you may respectfully witness, but I am not here to be consumed.
Effie is a holistic dancer, somatic coach, and trauma-informed facilitator that guides femme of center folks into a homecoming with the healing wisdom of the living body. Effie does this by leading individual and group experiences that affirm folks stepping into the ownership of their sexual expression. Effie’s primary offerings come through her teaching of sensually inspired feminine movement and helping folks learn to share their erotic nature through dance. With the creation of safe spaces that allow for authenticity and vulnerability, there is a healing that unfolds when we are witnessed and acknowledged as sexually alive beings.
